Doctor in your pocket

Let’s deliver a modern solution focussed on health and sickness prevention. Where the public sector is unable to deliver. And Big Pharma does not see profit.

Let’s move health improvement to the people – wherever they are, and whenever they need them.

Speed of trust

The world would trust us not to chase profits before doing good. No-one would accuse us of doing harm to stay in business.

Start over

To design from a clean slate is different than make to fit a legacy system. We can start over and design a business fit for modern humans.

Moskito power

We don’t need to make billions from day one. We can start small and grow fast with less resources than the patent tech and Pharma elephants.

Africa first

As The West is managed by corporations,  developing countries face daunting health challenges. Yet their tools are modern and the establishment absent.

Bad mother

Children with long-term sickness make mums feel insecure about own worth.

Sickness prison

Health is freedom. Sickness is a prison that deprives you of choice. In what you can do, what will be done to you, and what you can afford.

More hands?

To do more, we need more hands? Does it help with more of the wrong treatment or process? What if we had no hands? Or many for a burst, then just a few?

Change the system?

To solve the health challenge, we need to change the existing system? Can we work around it? Can we start from scratch? With the customer in center?

No access to healthcare?

Poor nation people lack access to proper healthcare? They all have mobile phones. They could easily be reached by text message.

Simple software for the user. Attractive design. Focus on the user experience. Take away features that are not essential.

Personal Computer

Democratize product. Empower each potential user. Make them available to anyone anywhere.

Make it super easy. Just swipe left or right. Be really specific and focus on only one thing. Dare to focus on a simple topic. Use pictures.

Doctor in your pocket

200+ million Sub-Saharan women and children walk more than 1 hour
to wait up to 5 hours for a 45 seconds nurse consultation. They pay $7-10 per visit/prescription and miss a full days work, a total cost of 10% of family income.

For rural Africans women who lack easy access to health services, but have access to a smartphone, DOKTA is their community doctor in their pocket.

DOKTA targets top illnesses, most effective preventive measures, and most common first aid needs. DOKTA turns local mothers into village heroes that save time, money and pain for their communities. DOKTA is the only solution that saves time and generates income for its customers.

Entry market

DOKTA leverages the Kenyan 50% smartphone penetration and mobile payment system and targets rural village mothers through women Chamas and Saccos (1/3 of Kenyans are members).
